REVIEW: Bath Street Chippy... More Than Just Fish & Chips!

The HuddleHub team love Friday lunch times and today was no exception.

The selection of food we tasted was a little different to what we anticipated to be honest but if like us, you enjoy chilli con carne, then you may be surprised to hear that Bath Street Chippy have this on their menu along with scampi and hot dogs too!

The generous portions of chips went down well with the team as they hungrily tucked in and topped them with the chunky chilli which consisted of minced beef, tomatoes and onions in a richly flavoured chillilicious sauce, not too spicy but with a lovely heat to it which we all enjoyed.

The cheese and onion fry it was a savoury cheesy parcel encased in a thin crispy crumb case which we also devoured in no time.

Along with the lovely chunky fish we also scoffed battered onion rings, and succulent scampi.

All food was rated highly by the HuddleHub taster team today.

The HuddleHub team were unanimous that the favourite meal of the day was the Chill Con Carne.

Open daily including Sunday lunch times 11.30am- 1.30pm there is no excuse not to treat yourself to something a little different, and with hotdogs from just £1 to pie, peas & gravy at £2.70 there is guaranteed to be something on the menu for everyone.

Card payments can be taken too.

The popular little chip shop is exactly where you would expect to find it, on Bath Street, Barrow-in-Furness.
