HuddleHub save Grange Edwardian Festival after committee retire

Following the retirement of the Edwardian Festival Committee after last year's 25th Festival, it was feared Grange's annual popular event would disappear from the calendar if another group couldn't be found to run it.

Fortunately, this news was featured in Grange Now where it was spotted by HuddleHub.

Matt Blackburn, Operations Director of HuddleHub said: "We are very pleased to take over from the former committee who have done a fantastic job over the past 25 years.

"We plan on keeping the event the same as previous years but adding to it with more stalls and performers and boosting promotion of the event.

"One of our strengths at HuddleHub is marketing and we have already launched a new Facebook page, created a Facebook event and created a new website to help spread more awareness of this already popular event and attract more people to Grange.

"We are currently in the process of contacting all the entertainment and stall holders from last year to perform/exhibit at this years 26th festival on Saturday 13th July 2019.

"If you would like to get involved and perform or have a stall please give us a call on 01229 808097, stall holders can also apply online here.

"Entry is £2.50 for adults and accompanied children are free. We have arranged a vintage red double decker bus on the day running from Grange Train Station to Park Road Gardens and back through Grange for you to jump on and off. Free parking is also available thanks to South Lakeland District Council on Berners Close Car Park.

"We hope with your support that we can keep growing this event over many more years to come."
