Hard works pays off for local Barrow girl



Due to the continued success and development of Rovtech Solutions Ltd and their philosophy of employing and training future engineers, they are proud to announce the latest member of their team: Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, Kira Hock, aged 17 from Barrow.


A Rovtech spokesperson said: “Kira was a stand out candidate from a very strong list of applicants”.

Kira will now be trained in-house at Rovtech with educational support given by Furness College.

Kira has attended Furness College for the past one and half years, she said:

“Thank you to Furness College for giving me great ground knowledge which has helped gain my apprenticeship.

"I am grateful to all my tutors that have taught me to better my engineering knowledge and experience.

“I now have a great opportunity to further my career in the engineering industry. It’s a lovely working environment at Rovtech and I am really enjoying it there.

"My co-workers are brilliant and are very helpful; they are helping me to learn new skills.

"I feel I have landed a fantastic apprenticeship and I am very happy”.
